Packaging Lead - 3rd Shift
About The Position
The role of this position is to assist in the management of all activities associated with the filling/packaging of products. The Packaging Lead will lead the packaging/filling rooms and coordinate activities of workers engaged in filling and packaging products. This role will evaluate and improve work processes, resolve problem areas, and ensure product quality through a commitment to SOP adherence and training of staff. The Lead will also assist in staffing the production areas, ensuring employees demonstrate a commitment to maximizing efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities include reviewing batch record entries, calculating yield for finished goods, and keeping the production process flowing smoothly, while conforming to all cGMP procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing facility
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people from all backgrounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
- Basic math skills
- Consistent and punctual attendance
- Proficient in using standard computer software and hardware
- Must be quality driven with good attention to detail but also be able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Leads the packaging/filling rooms and coordinate activities of workers engaged in filling and packaging products
