About The Position

This position is responsible for internal graphic design, maintaining consistency across product lines, packaging, literature, and advertising. The role requires understanding established project goals and ensuring work is completed on time, cost-effectively, and within budget. It is a remote role based in the United States.

Requirements

At least 5 years of practical graphic design experience, including familiarity with advertising, corporate identity, packaging, and literature design.
Strong understanding of commercial printing and pre-press requirements.
Strong Macintosh literacy.
Experience working in a corporate environment.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of printing processes and file setup.
Ability to take direction and accept constructive criticism.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others.
Problem-solving capabilities.
Exceptional attention to detail, including proofreading and verifying work for accuracy before routing or release.
Knowledge of business communications and protocol.

Nice To Haves

A BFA in Graphic Design or another BA is desired but not required.
Knowledge of additional software.

Responsibilities

Develop concepts, designs, and layouts for labels, packaging, literature, trade shows, and digital materials.
Rework existing materials and designs to update their appearance or information.
Create original illustrations, icons, and other graphics using Adobe Illustrator.
Search for stock photography.
Prepare computer files for printers.
Answer questions that arise during production of printed pieces.
Meet project deadlines based on the materials supplied to the graphics team.
Maintain well-organized computer and hard-copy files for individual design projects.
Assist with maintaining computers within the Creative Services Department.
Consistently maintain all work on the file server.
