About The Position

Innvoke is seeking a dedicated Label Production Specialist to operate a Label Slitter and/or Turret Rewinder in its finishing department. The role is the final touchpoint in production, converting large master rolls of printed labels into finished, customer-ready rolls. The specialist must work quickly and accurately while ensuring labels meet quality standards. The daily production standard is 50,000 feet, though output may be greater.

Requirements

Two years of previous experience in a label and print or bindery environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
Mechanical and technical aptitude, including comfort with measurements in fractions and decimals and manual dexterity for fine adjustments.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment, take ownership, and take pride in work.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift rolls as required by production needs.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate slitter/rewinder machines according to job specifications.
Position and adjust slitting knives to achieve exact widths and clean cuts.
Inspect labels during rewinding, identify defects, and remove them to ensure accuracy for the client.
Monitor machine speed, tension, and alignment to prevent wrinkling or misalignment.
Load and unload rolls weighing up to 25 pounds, box finished products, and accurately log production data.
Maintain a clean workspace and perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
