About The Position

Responsible for filling orders accurately, productively, and safely. Employees are expected to perform all tasks in accordance with company policies and applicable state and federal laws, and to demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. The role combines label-plant production and warehouse duties, and requires flexibility to switch tasks as needed.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to use common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions and address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability and willingness to work with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
Ability to work weekends frequently and overtime regularly.
Familiarity with distribution-center terms and processes.
Ability to meet production standards.

Nice To Haves

High school education or GED plus one year of work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Mount plates and set up presses.
Operate four-color and seven-color flexographic presses.
Wash pans, clean the press, and wash down the machine.
Operate rewind tables and stand-up rewind equipment.
Complete paperwork correctly.
Select orders by reading the order to determine item numbers and quantities, then obtaining the correct merchandise from bins, shelves, or pick slots.
Build and wrap pallets, and load pallets onto trailers.
Perform warehouse functions, including lift operation, inventory, receiving, and stocking.
Switch between tasks as needed on a daily basis.
Perform janitorial functions and keep the work area clean and neat.
Perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Work safely and meet production standards.
