About The Position

Quanex is looking for a 1st Shift Packaging/Kit Assembler to join our team located in Rice Lake, WI. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm. This role involves machine operation, setup, staging and labeling screens, making cardboard boxes/flats, running a stretch wrapper, and performing quality checks. The company emphasizes safety, attendance, and performing other related duties as necessary.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of production, assembly or related work experience preferred
• Eagerness to learn
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Machine operation
• Set up
• Staging and labeling screens
• Making cardboard boxes/flats
• Running a stretch wrapper
• Quality checks
• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notify supervisor/team lead of any existing or potential safety issues
• Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
