About The Position

This is a full-time position for Packaging General Labor workers on 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role involves working in a safe manner, following safety and food safety guidelines, and packing product at a specified rate. Responsibilities include palletizing, making boxes, bending, scooping, and standing for the entire shift. The position also requires completing paperwork, training others, relieving and assisting operators, helping in other departments, and cleaning/organizing work areas. Occasional lifting of 25-50 pounds is necessary.

Requirements

• Must have experience in packing product

• Must be able to communicate with others as well as management
• Must have understanding of FDA guidelines and company policies.
• Mathematical skills
• Bilingual is preferred

Responsibilities

• Ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety guidelines
• Understand and follow Food Safety Policies
• Ability to Pack on all Lines at the specified rate
• Ability to palletize and make boxes
• Ability to bend, scoop and stand for the entire shift
• Be able to complete paperwork as needed for position
• Train others as needed to increase their skill level
• Relieve others as needed, assist or fill in for Operators
• Ability to assist in other departments
• Ability to clean and organize work areas
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds occasionally
