Packaging - General Labor 2nd & 3rd shift Available
About The Position
This role involves general labor in a packaging environment, with opportunities available on 2nd and 3rd shifts. The position requires adherence to safety and food safety guidelines, the ability to work at a specified rate on all packing lines, and the capacity to perform tasks such as palletizing and box making. Employees must be able to stand for the entire shift, complete necessary paperwork, and assist in training others. The role also includes the flexibility to relieve others, assist operators, support other departments, and maintain clean and organized work areas. Occasional lifting of 25-50 pounds is required.
Requirements
- Must have experience in packing product
Nice To Haves
- Must be able to communicate with others as well as management
- Must have understanding of FDA guidelines and company policies
- Mathematical skills
- Bilingual is preferred
Responsibilities
- Work in a safe manner and follow safety guidelines
- Understand and follow Food Safety Policies
- Pack on all lines at the specified rate
- Palletize and make boxes
- Bend, scoop and stand for the entire shift
- Complete paperwork as needed for position
- Train others as needed to increase their skill level
- Relieve others as needed, assist or fill in for Operators
- Assist in other departments
- Clean and organize work areas
- Lift 25-50 pounds occasionally
