Packaging Engineer Intern Spring 2027
About The Position
Printpack’s Technology and Innovation team is seeking a Packaging Engineer Intern for Spring 2027, from January 2027 through June 2027. The internship provides the opportunity to work with Product Development on next-generation packaging solutions, Manufacturing personnel using equipment, and Sales and Marketing professionals developing strategic growth platforms. The intern will gain hands-on experience managing projects with consumer products companies. This is a full-time position located in Atlanta, Georgia, reporting to a Product Development Manager. Competitive compensation and a housing stipend are offered.
Requirements
- Working toward a Bachelor of Science in Packaging or a related technical field.
- GPA of 3.0 or above.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage activities including specification consolidation, packaging materials performance criteria, sample fabrication, and prototyping.
- Support Manufacturing by implementing standard operating procedures on equipment and assisting with development trials.
- Conduct basic research on new technologies.
- Interact with Sales, Marketing, and Technical associates on product platforms and market development initiatives.
- Facilitate Product Development and Marketing innovation sessions by organizing them, completing pre-work or research, and following up on action items.
