About The Position

Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking a Packaging Associate in our Laconia, NH location. The primary function of this role is to ensure parts are packed according to packing instructions, as well as counted accurately and protected against damage during shipment.

Requirements

• Works on assignments that are routine/semi routine in nature.
• Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions and notes for specific packaging.
• Ability to communicate issues to Lead and/or Supervisor.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
• All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
• Candidate will not need sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles/80 kilometers) of the Location facility will be considered.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Box and package parts to customer specifications.
• Crate, mask, as well as package parts.
• Follow the shipping lead person’s directions during the course of the day.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May cross train to other jobs as needed.
