About The Position

As a Packer, you will provide support for the operation team by working safely, in a fast-paced production warehouse environment, while inspecting product for defects and packing finished goods in correct configuration. This is a steady, non-seasonal employment opportunity that is essential to the food supply chain. It is an entry-level position with rapid growth opportunities to advance to a Machine Operator.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential
• Ability to follow standard work instructions is required
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing, when required, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat/bump cap, hair/beard net and gloves
• Ability to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, bend throughout the duration of the scheduled shift
• Prolonged standing while performing the duties of the job
• Job requires high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles

Responsibilities

• Package product into boxes and prepare for shipment
• Check for quality issues to product and contact team lead with issues
• Ensure you have enough supplies at your station (boxes, tape ect.)
• Keep station clean at all times
• Follow safety guidelines at all times
