About The Position

Working under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient packaging of chemical products in accordance with company quality standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications. This position prepares finished products for storage and shipment by inspecting containers, labeling products, packaging materials, palletizing finished goods, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to safely lift, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shift; heavier items may require team lift or mechanical assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
  • Ability to work in an industrial environment with regular exposure to chemicals, including use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, chemical-resistant footwear, goggles, and face shields.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and monitor multiple processes simultaneously.

  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or production experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Package chemical products into approved containers according to work instructions and packaging specifications.
  • Inspect containers, labels, seals, and finished packages for accuracy, leaks, damage, or defects.
  • Apply product labels and shipping information accurately.
  • Assemble cartons, boxes, and other packaging materials for finished products.
  • Palletize, wrap, and prepare finished goods for warehouse storage or shipment.
  • Verify packaging quantities and ensure products are packaged to customer and company requirements.
  • Perform visual quality inspections and report product or packaging discrepancies.
  • Stage packaging materials and replenish supplies at packaging workstations.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality standards.
  • Adhere to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, including proper handling of chemical products and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of packaging, warehouse, and production areas.
  • Report safety concerns, spills, damaged materials, equipment issues, or quality problems to the supervisor.
  • Perform other packaging and production support duties as assigned.
