About The Position

Responsible for contributing and acting as a team member for the operation of automated and manual packaging equipment while following cGMP and SOP requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to safely and efficiently work as a team member on filling and packaging lines.
• Excellent observation skills to recognize quality defects.
• Ability to handle weights up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work overtime - as needed.
• Ability to meet physical requirements when performing job duties such as sitting, standing, walking, lifting, climbing, carrying, reaching, crouching, etc.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual packaging functions such as hand packing products into shipping cases, loading finished goods onto pallets or conveyors, and assembling component parts into finished goods as per packaging instructions.
• Load and supply materials to machines.
• Adhere to all cGMP’s and Company SOP’s.
• Act as a team member on production lines by following the direction of the Line Operator.
• Maintain Quality standards while working on production lines.
• Keep up with machine speeds to achieve productivity targets.
• Inspect work-in-progress to ensure quality standards are met.
• Promote and follow Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Maintain a neat, clean and safe work area, following Lean 5S procedures.
