Packaging Associate
About The Position
Novolex is hiring packers at its Mt. Carmel, Pennsylvania location. The Packaging Associate supports production operations in a fast-paced production warehouse, working safely while inspecting products for defects and packaging finished goods in the correct configuration. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is required. The position pays $19.85 per hour to start, plus a $1 per hour night-shift differential. Hours are 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with every other weekend off, following a two-week rotating schedule. Sponsorship and relocation are not offered for this hourly position.
Requirements
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies.
- Work safely in a fast-paced production warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Package products into boxes and prepare them for shipment.
- Check products for quality issues and contact the team lead when issues are found.
- Ensure the workstation has adequate supplies, such as boxes and tape.
- Keep the workstation clean at all times.
- Follow safety guidelines at all times.
