About The Position

Novolex is hiring a Packaging Associate to support the operation team in a fast-paced production warehouse environment. The role involves safely inspecting products for defects and packing finished goods in the correct configuration. The position pays $18.93 per hour, with weekly pay. Monday through Friday shifts are available: 2nd shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with a $1.50-per-hour shift differential, or 3rd shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with a $2.00-per-hour shift differential.

Requirements

Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team.
Ability to follow standard work instructions.
Wear required personal protective equipment and clothing, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat or bump cap, hair or beard net, and gloves.
Ability to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, and bend throughout the scheduled shift.
Ability to perform prolonged standing.
High level of manual dexterity and repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles.

Responsibilities

Package products into boxes and prepare them for shipment.
Check products for quality issues and contact the team lead when issues are found.
Ensure the station has sufficient supplies, such as boxes and tape.
Keep the station clean at all times.
Follow safety guidelines at all times.
