About The Position

MAPEI Corporation is hiring an experienced operator to safely operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used to prepare, blend, process, and package products. The operator helps coordinate production activities, supports and guides other operators, and troubleshoots equipment and process issues to help meet production, quality, and safety requirements.

Requirements

Willingness to perform hands-on work and mechanical inclination.
Minimum of three years of manufacturing or process experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 55 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Flexibility for overtime and shift hours.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor equipment used to prepare, blend, process, and package products.
Verify that materials are accurately measured and added in the correct sequence.
Monitor batching systems, controls, and gauges; identify and address operating issues.
Coordinate workflow and communicate production and Quality Control instructions.
Train and provide day-to-day guidance to Process Operators as directed.
Maintain accurate production records and promptly report safety or quality concerns.
Monitor equipment performance and assist maintenance with repairs and adjustments.
Adhere to MAPEI’s BMS and environmental, health, and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
