Packager - 2nd Shift

About The Position

The Packager handles and inspects finished products for defects, then packs them into cases of various sizes for shipment or storage. Packagers assist Machine Operators by pulling product from machines and placing it into the correct shipping boxes. The role involves checking product quality, discarding damaged products, and performing physical tasks such as lifting, standing, bending, stretching, squatting, and reaching.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to bend, stretch, squat, and reach above and below the waist and shoulders.

Responsibilities

Handle and inspect finished products for defects.
Pack products into cases of various sizes for shipment or storage.
Assist Machine Operators by pulling product from machines.
Place products into the correct boxes for shipping.
Check product quality and discard damaged products.
