About The Position
The Packager supports a busy production team in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. This is a short-term temporary assignment in Fairfax, Vermont, paying $18.50 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, move, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Nice To Haves
- Previous packaging or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Count and verify products for accuracy before placing them in displays.
- Label and mark products, containers, and packaging materials.
- Inspect products and packaging to ensure quality standards are met.
- Complete required packaging, production, and inventory documentation.
- Remove and document defective products or materials.
- Seal containers using tape, fasteners, glue, and hand tools.
- Move, sort, and organize products, materials, and pallets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report operational issues or concerns to the Lead Packager.
