About The Position

Advanced design and Solutions Package team is looking for a Power Integrity / Delivery Electrical analysis Engineer. The candidate will work on Power Integrity (PI) of IC packages and is responsible for the performance of those packages. PI Engineers are responsible for the extraction, analysis, and optimization of the high performance interfaces for electronic components. Review electrical technical specifications and work with package design teams to assure package designs meet those specifications. The candidate will have an understanding in the areas of Power Integrity or electromagnetics. The candidate should be a self-motivated engineer who has some technical background in electrical analysis and design.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering student.
At least 1 year experience with circuit and electromagnetic simulation tools.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on power integrity, or related experience in product design desired.
Experience with: SPICE, Ansys tools (HFSS, Q2D, Q3D), Cadence tools (Allegro, Power SI), etc.
Understanding of IC Packaging.

Responsibilities

Determine creative design approaches and solutions based on formal education and judgement.
Work with the design and layout teams to implement those solutions.
Verify the power performance through simulation.
