THE ROLE As a key member of our Hardware Development Team, you will drive the design and validation of complex power delivery systems for next-generation enterprise storage solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external JDM partners to ensure high-performance, reliable voltage regulation and power distribution across our PCBA and system architectures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 6+ years of professional experience in power integrity and hardware design for enterprise-scale systems.
  • Proven expertise in qualifying voltage regulator circuits and optimizing Power Delivery Networks (PDN).
  • Experience designing and qualifying voltage regulator circuits
  • Proficiency with simulation tools such as Ansys SI-wave, HyperLynx PI, or similar environments.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, technical development environment.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and implementation of advanced power distribution networks for enterprise-grade storage systems.
  • Own the full product lifecycle, from initial design and simulation to hardware validation, root-cause failure analysis, and sustaining engineering.
  • Design high-efficiency voltage regulators tailored for x86 CPUs and high-performance networking ASICs.
  • Conduct rigorous PI/PDN simulations using industry-standard tools to optimize motherboard and system-level power delivery.
  • Select and qualify critical VR components, including controllers, MOSFETs, inductors, and capacitors, ensuring long-term reliability.
  • Perform failure and root cause analysis activities in support of system hardening efforts and customer escalations.
  • Partner with Operations and Support teams to resolve complex customer escalations through deep technical hardening efforts.
  • Help develop processes and best practices to help create a culture of quality by design.
