About The Position

Nippon Sanso MATHESON is hiring a local Package Gas Driver in Kenai, Alaska. Drivers haul cylinders of compressed gases, including oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, and carbon dioxide, delivering primarily to hospitals, commercial food processors, and government agencies. The role is described as home daily and year-round work with no down periods. Starting pay is $33 to $34 per hour, with the opportunity to earn a monthly safety bonus of up to $325 and a $2,500 driver referral bonus. The position includes full benefits, paid holidays and floating holidays, vacation time, sick days, a 401(k) with company match, company-paid life insurance, and short-term disability insurance. Requirements

CDL Class B or Class A license and a current DOT medical card.
At least 2 years of CDL Class A experience, or at least 1.5 years of experience with certification from an accredited driving school.
Current Hazmat endorsement; candidates without one may obtain it within 60 days of hire.
No more than one traffic violation in the last 2 years.
No at-fault accidents in the last 2 years.
No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years; one per lifetime.
Ability to pass a DOT physical, DOT drug test, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities
