About The Position
Nippon Sanso MATHESON is hiring a CDL B truck driver in Wichita, Kansas. The driver transports cylinders of compressed gases—including oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, and carbon dioxide—to customers such as hospitals, commercial food processors, and government agencies. The work is described as clean, consistent, and year-round. Routes are mainly local with drivers home daily, though occasional layovers and schedule changes may be required. Pay is $25.00 per hour.
Requirements
- CDL Class B license and current DOT medical card.
- At least one year of CDL Class B experience, or six months of experience with certification from an accredited driving school.
- Current Hazmat endorsement; candidates without one may obtain it within 60 days of hire.
- No more than one traffic violation in the last two years, no at-fault accidents in the last two years, and no DUI/DWI in the last five years (one per lifetime).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, DOT drug test, and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver cylinders of compressed gases to customers, including hospitals, commercial food processors, and government agencies.
- Adjust to scheduling changes and be available for required layovers.
