About The Position
Nippon Sanso MATHESON is hiring a CDL B driver in Omaha, Nebraska to transport cylinders of compressed gases, including oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, and carbon dioxide. Deliveries are primarily made to hospitals, commercial food processors, and government agencies. The company describes the work as clean, consistent, and year-round, with no down periods. Pay is $26.36–$27.36 per hour, with a monthly safety bonus of up to $325 and a $2,500 driver referral bonus. The role includes company benefits and requires a valid CDL B license, a current DOT medical card, and qualifying driving experience. Candidates without a current Hazmat endorsement may be considered if they obtain one within 60 days of hire.
Requirements
- CDL B license and current DOT medical card.
- At least 1 year of Class B experience, or 6 months of experience with certification from an accredited driving school.
- Current Hazmat endorsement; candidates without one may be considered if they obtain it within 60 days of hire.
- No more than 1 traffic violation in the last 2 years.
- No at-fault accidents in the last 2 years.
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years; 1 per lifetime.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, DOT drug test, and criminal background check.
