About The Position

This role involves examining and thoroughly packaging items, estimating their value to determine if the company should buy or warehouse them, and asking for help when encountering unfamiliar items. The position also requires monitoring for special accounts/products to separate, lifting, pulling, and pushing an average of 70 lbs, and standing for the full shift while processing items from a conveyor.

Requirements

• Must be a team player, always helping to achieve team goals with a positive outlook.
• Reliable attendance; can be counted on to be on the job.
• Consistently process 30 packages per hour.
• Have a general idea of prices for common consumer items.
• Ability to remember specials and approximate prices of repeat items.

Responsibilities

• Examine and package thoroughly for all contents.
• Estimate item value to determine if we buy or warehouse.
• Ask for help when trying to value unfamiliar items.
• Monitor for special accounts/products to separate.
• Lift, pull, and push an average of 70 lbs.
• Stand for the full shift, pulling items from a conveyor to process.
