PACK OUT - CENTRAL KITCHEN (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Pack Out - Central Kitchen associate stacks and piles finished goods into the correct containers and prepares them for shipment using various pieces of equipment. The position is based at Union Square Events, 147 41st Street, 4th Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11232. The schedule is full time, Thursday through Monday, 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM. Previous product fulfillment experience is required, and the associate must be able to work in a refrigerated environment. The pay range is $20.00 to $26.00 per hour. Union Square Events and CxRA combine culinary excellence, operational expertise, and hospitality to serve cultural, corporate, entertainment, and private venues. The companies began operating from a shared kitchen and commissary in 2026, offering team members opportunities to support venues and events across both brands. Associates follow company policies and safety practices, including using appropriate cut-resistant gloves when handling specified tools, protective gloves when handling hot pans, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques. Requirements
- Previous product fulfillment experience is required.
- Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare containers for packing, ensuring they are undamaged.
- Stack and pile finished goods into containers and prepare goods for shipment according to specific instructions.
- Verify that items pulled from packages are correct.
- Maintain a database of packages.
- Complete documents recording measurements, weight, and product count, and track inventory.
- Remove completed or defective products or materials and place them on moving equipment, such as conveyors, or in specified areas, such as loading docks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow company policies and safety procedures, including required protective equipment and proper lifting techniques.
