About The Position

The Stack Off position supports production operations by lifting, carrying, stacking, and moving product, boxes, materials, and equipment throughout the plant. The role helps ensure product is handled safely, pallets are stacked properly, and production areas receive support based on business needs. Work takes place in a poultry production environment and may involve supporting multiple departments. Conditions may include varying temperatures, wet or humid areas, elevated noise, dust, food-processing chemicals, and moving equipment. The position requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and regularly lifting and moving materials weighing 45 to 75 pounds. Required PPE, including hearing and eye protection, hair nets, and beard nets, must be worn as applicable. This is a full-time, on-site position at the Acorn Facility on the second shift. Compensation is $18.25 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour shift differential. New team members must pass a post-offer drug and alcohol screening before starting employment. Employment eligibility verification is required by the end of the employee’s third workday. Recruitment will continue until the position is filled.

Requirements

Ability to repeatedly lift and move products weighing 45 to 75 pounds throughout the shift.
Ability to safely and accurately stack pallets up to 10 pallets high while maintaining product stability and workplace safety standards.
Ability to perform continuous physical tasks, including lifting, bending, carrying, reaching, and stacking.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while following safety procedures and guidelines.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must pass a post-offer drug and alcohol screening before starting employment.
Must provide documentation verifying employment eligibility by the end of the third day of work.

Responsibilities

Repeatedly lift 45 to 75 pounds as part of daily production duties.
Stack pallets up to 10 high while maintaining stability and safety.
Perform repeated lifting, bending, carrying, and stacking tasks.
Work throughout various departments to assist where needed.
Move, stack, and organize product, boxes, tools, equipment, and materials to support production flow.
Follow safety requirements, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
Prevent and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, hazards, or safety concerns.
Follow lockout/tagout procedures and applicable Process Safety Management requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Follow company policies, department procedures, and production standards.
Learn and perform general labor duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
