About The Position

The Regulatory Compliance Analyst supports SRP’s compliance with North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) standards, including Operations & Planning (O&P) and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP). This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs, conducting assessments, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory alignment across SRP’s operations.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of NERC CIP and O&P standards; WECC experience preferred.
  • Experience in electric utility operations, engineering, or cybersecurity.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Visio and compliance tracking tools a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to SRP facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between operational departments and SRP’s Electric Reliability Compliance team.
  • Develop and maintain compliance processes, procedures, and documentation to support adherence to NERC and WECC standards.
  • Conduct internal reviews, audits, and assessments of compliance evidence and internal controls.
  • Coordinate and support responses to regulatory audits, enforcement actions, and data requests.
  • Ensures technical and business systems meet applicable regulatory standards.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on SRP’s compliance posture.
  • Participate in industry groups and standards development processes to represent SRP’s interests.
  • Provide training and guidance to technical and non-technical personnel on compliance requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process optimization.
  • Travel to SRP facilities as needed to support compliance activities and stakeholder engagement.
