About The Position

TeamHealth is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their emergency medicine team at Mercy Ambulatory Care Center in Orchard Park, New York. This opportunity is suitable for both recent graduates of a nurse practitioner or physician assistant program and experienced emergency medicine advanced practice clinicians. TeamHealth is willing to train motivated new graduates and welcomes seasoned clinicians looking to advance their careers. The Mercy Ambulatory Care Center is a low acuity facility with an annual emergency department volume of 26,000 and 12 ED hospital beds. The APC schedule includes shifts from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 1:00 am. Candidates must be available for all shifts, including two full weekends per month. The position offers competitive compensation, with an estimated base salary range of $109,850 to $136,890 annually, plus the opportunity to earn incentives.

Requirements

Recently graduated from a nurse practitioner or physician assistant program, or be an experienced emergency medicine advanced practice clinician.
Willingness to train motivated new graduates.
Availability for all shifts including 2 full weekends a month.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency medicine care in the emergency department at Mercy Ambulatory Care Center.
Work a schedule that includes shifts from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm and 3:00 pm - 1:00 am.

Treat patients with acute illnesses or injuries.
