This track rotates fellows through both community-based emergency rooms as well as level 1 trauma centers to provide exposure to a variety of patient populations as well as acuity levels. It involves a combination of 8- and 12-hour shifts and will require rotations on nights, weekends, and holidays. Clinical rotations will be through a variety of ERs with specialty rotations in cardiology, radiology, ortho, pulmonology, and more. Fellows will have opportunities to provide care to patients in community rotations and engage in interprofessional learning with medical students and residents. There will be in-seat didactic each week with simulation, skills training, case-based learning, and specialty speakers. The fellowship begins April 2027.
