About The Position
The P&D Driver safely operates a company vehicle to complete daily pickup and delivery routes. The driver loads and unloads tires, wheels, and parts, delivers products professionally and on time, and supports service technicians by transporting tires to and from service calls or jobsites. The role also includes verifying deliveries, maintaining required records, assisting with inventory tasks, inspecting vehicles, and following company safety policies and DOT regulations. Work may involve lifting items up to 100 lbs. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, are required; overtime may be required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license; a CDL is not required for most P&D roles but may be preferred for larger vehicles.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 100 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
- Strong time-management and communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Overtime may be required.

- Previous delivery or route-driving experience.
- Experience in the tire, automotive, or logistics industry.
- Familiarity with basic inventory-handling procedures.
- Customer service experience or a client-facing delivery background.
- CDL for roles involving larger vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company light-, medium-, or heavy-duty vehicles on daily pickup and delivery routes, as permitted by the driver’s license.
- Load and unload tires, wheels, and parts using appropriate safety techniques and equipment.
- Deliver products to customer locations in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
- Verify delivery contents and obtain required signatures and documentation.
- Maintain delivery logs, receipts, and daily driver logs as required by DOT regulations.
- Assist with inventory organization, stocking, and cycle counts as needed.
- Transport tires to and from service calls or jobsites to support service technicians.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and DOT regulations.
