Our People & Culture team is seeking a P&C Mergers & Acquisitions Leader with deep experience in HR leadership and M&A integration. The P&C Mergers & Acquisitions Leader will have the opportunity to work hybrid from any of our office locations. For the right candidate we will consider a remote arrangement from within the United States. As the P&C Mergers & Acquisitions Leader, you will: Lead and manage the full lifecycle of People & Culture integration activities for acquired firms, serving as the primary point of contact for all P&C‑related M&A efforts. Develop and execute comprehensive P&C integration strategies and playbooks, including organizational design, talent management, compensation, benefits, HR systems, and cultural alignment. Oversee P&C integration timelines, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring clear communication and status reporting to key stakeholders. Partner closely with cross‑functional teams including Corporate Development, Strategy, Finance, Legal, IT, Operations, and People & Culture to ensure alignment and compliance. Identify and mitigate risks related to employee experience, compliance, retention, and cultural integration throughout the acquisition process. Drive change‑management and communication strategies that support smooth employee transitions and foster trust during integration. Champion cultural integration by assessing cultural differences, facilitating alignment activities, and advising senior leadership on cultural considerations. Lead the harmonization of talent acquisition, workforce planning, and talent development practices to support a seamless employee experience post‑acquisition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 8+ years of HR leadership experience, including at least three years focused on M&A integration or complex project management, ideally within fast‑paced professional services.
  • Hands‑on experience with HR platforms such as Workday and LCVista.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to guide P&C‑focused M&A initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate deals, identify integration strategies, and interpret market trends.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence effectively across cross‑functional teams and all organizational levels.
  • Strategic thinking paired with strong execution skills supporting business‑aligned M&A outcomes.
  • High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, communication, facilitation, and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Deep knowledge of HR disciplines including compensation, benefits, talent management, talent acquisition, and compliance.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and produce results under tight timelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred certifications: Change management (e.g., Prosci), HR (e.g., SHRM‑SCP), or M&A (e.g., CMAS).
