About The Position

Artelia Canada is seeking a P&C Drafter to join their team in Mississauga, ON. This role involves completing engineering designs and drawing packages using AutoCAD, managing document control, coordinating project work with the team, and performing administrative and technical functions to support engineering activities. The P&C Drafter will also liaise with engineering, document control, and ISO quality control standards for compliance.

Requirements

College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
Recent graduate or up to 3 years of relevant experience in protection and control design/drafting
Basic understanding of electrical single-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, connection wiring diagrams, elementary wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and cable lists
Knowledge of electrical and telecommunications drafting principles
Familiar with engineering standards, manufacture’s drawings and meridian document management system
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel and Word

Responsibilities

Complete engineering designs and drawings packages by using AutoCAD
Complete document control, submissions and management
Coordinate project work with the team lead, other engineering disciplines and project manager
Perform other administrative and technical functions in support of engineering activities
Liaise with engineering, document control and ISO quality control standards for compliance
