About The Position

Supervises workers and tasks in the organization's overseas settlement function. This role will require you to be fully onsite based out of Franklin, TN.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and minimum of 5 years of AR & AP experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of Management
  • Ability to receive and understand direction from supervision and management
  • Proficiency with Excel required

Nice To Haves

  • General Accounting experience is preferred
  • Experience with MS D365 is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, Yunas, & Micorsoft D365.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors the work of a team of overseas settlement specialists that communicate with agents by email or phone to work on settlement each month or collect for outstanding receivable from the agents.
  • Assist with Agent settlements each month or collect for outstanding receivable from the agents.
  • Escalate overdue AR for additional collection efforts.
  • Manage account receivable and payable to all assigned agents, accurately.
  • Oversee and review agent’s monthly AR statement and try to match up with our outstanding payable.
  • Oversee and judge for correctness of agent’s AR statement. Any missing payables are required to communicate to branches to follow up and set up for payable.
  • Able to settle assigned agents timely and accurately.
  • After settled, properly allocate settled transactions to AP/AR allocation in the accounting system to clear the outstanding.
  • Oversee and maintain and generate reporting to identify delinquent AR and AP to branches to work on them.
  • Provide follow up on identified issues and discrepancies to supervisor and or manager and perform special projects as assigned.
  • Perform all job functions while adhering to the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and process journal entries to record overseas settlements.
  • Preparation for annual and semi-annual accounting audit and JSOX testing and reviews.
