The worker also awakens students at designated times using approved methods, attends quarterly team meetings, completes required training, and performs other assigned duties. The position requires a high school diploma, reliability, and the ability to remain alert and awake throughout the night shift. The worker should have a general understanding of adolescent behavior, follow agency-approved de-escalation and physical-management procedures, remain open to new ideas and situations, demonstrate good character and the maturity and capacity to perform assigned duties, and show sensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the populations served. Physical requirements are referenced as attached but are not provided in the posting.
