About The Position

The Overnight Supervisor oversees overnight operations at the Reston, Virginia facility, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The role leads and supports overnight staff, monitors performance, maintains safety and security protocols, and addresses operational issues. As the primary contact for escalations, the supervisor ensures company policies and procedures are followed and helps sustain service quality, operational excellence, business continuity, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a similar overnight or shift-based environment.
• Strong understanding of safety and security protocols.
• Ability to work overnight hours consistently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Experience in facilities management or operations supervision.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, or emergency response.
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Proficiency with scheduling and reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate overnight staff to ensure productivity and adherence to company standards.
• Monitor facility operations for safety, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and operational disruptions, escalating issues as necessary.
• Conduct inspections and audits to check equipment functionality and workplace cleanliness.
• Prepare and submit reports on overnight activities, incidents, and staff performance.
• Train, guide, and support team members to foster a positive and efficient work environment.
• Coordinate with day-shift supervisors to ensure a smooth handover and continuity of operations.
