About The Position

Under the supervision of the Management team, the Overnight Supervisor provides daily direction to Outfitters on the overnight shift in the retail store. The role oversees sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, inventory management, and price change execution. The Supervisor also supports the Management team with staffing, training, scheduling, performance feedback, and maintaining a positive, productive work environment. The position requires availability to work overnight shifts and involves regularly walking, standing, and using a computer, with occasional sitting and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
2–4 years of retail experience.
Availability to work overnight shifts.
Ability to read and analyze certain reports.
Ability to present information effectively and respond to inquiries from Managers, Outfitters, customers, and the general public.
Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups.
Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and inventory management systems.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, Outfitters, customers, and the Base Camp team.

Responsibilities

Delegate tasks and work assignments to team members, provide clear direction, and follow up to ensure proper execution.
Ensure team members follow standard operating procedures and processes; provide training and guidance as needed.
Maintain visual presentation standards, including signage, merchandise directives and planograms, merchandise recovery and front-facing, and general daily recovery.
Ensure nightly sales floor replenishment from backstock, Distribution Center shipments, and direct vendor deliveries.
Support inventory management with the Inventory Control team by completing on-demand counts, empty peg scanning, pick requests, display integrity checks, and related tasks.
Support coordination of special events; maintain pricing and UPC integrity; determine proper assortments; and ensure inventory accuracy and correct display, tagging, signage, and pricing of advertised items.
Support supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies, including training, planning, assigning and directing work, evaluating performance, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Assist Management and the Human Resources Representative with staffing, interviewing, selection recommendations, training coordination, performance appraisal input, and weekly work schedules.
Coach and motivate associates to promote positive customer relations and a productive, team-oriented work environment.
Ensure overnight Outfitters receive breaks and lunches in accordance with provincial and local regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
