About The Position

This position is responsible for taking stock from an l-cart or pallet and using the location codes on each box to place stock in the correct shelf location. The process is repeated until the assigned area is complete. The description also includes duties for a Food Clerk in Meijer’s Fresh departments. That role supports a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store by assisting customers, maintaining product displays, stocking and rotating merchandise, following food safety procedures, and helping across departments as needed.

Responsibilities

Take stock from an l-cart or pallet and place it in the correct shelf location using the location codes on the boxes.
Repeat the stocking process until the assigned area is finished.
Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
