About The Position

The Overnight Stock Clerk stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food, ensuring merchandise is fully stocked and clearly labeled. The role maintains product display signage, creates or applies labels and sales tags, and handles damaged or spoiled goods according to company policies. The clerk also keeps the club neat, clean, and organized by performing housekeeping duties and removing trash and cardboard. Team members are expected to follow club policies and procedures, support a safe and positive environment, deliver service consistent with GOLD Member Standards, work collaboratively, and attend work regularly and predictably. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments as needed.

The job is performed mostly while moving continuously on hard surfaces, in an indoor environment that may include moving machinery, loud equipment, temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, or coolers, and occasional exposure to cleaning agents. The work involves frequent positioning and reaching movements and lifting objects up to 30 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be moved with assistance.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and/or food and ensure merchandise is fully stocked.
• Maintain product display signage and create labels or apply merchandise sales tags so labels and price tags are clear and visible.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Support a safe and positive environment for members and team members and address or escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Work with the team to meet club standards, execute promotional plans, and maintain accurate signage.
• Attend work regularly and predictably.
