About The Position

The Overnight Stock Clerk stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food in the club, ensuring merchandise is fully stocked and clearly labeled. The role maintains product display signage, labels, and price tags, and handles damaged or spoiled products according to company policies. It also helps keep the club neat, clean, and organized by performing housekeeping duties and removing trash and cardboard. The position may include duties in other departments as needed and requires regular, predictable, full attendance.

Team members are expected to follow club policies and procedures, act with honesty and integrity, support a safe and positive environment, work collaboratively and respectfully, maintain a friendly attitude, and deliver service excellence to members. The role contributes to daily GOLD Member and Club Standards through friendly service, accurate signage, stocked merchandise, executed promotional plans, and clean, organized facilities.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to move continuously about the work area and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, and stoop to examine or scan merchandise.
• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 30 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be lifted and moved with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous grocery or stock experience preferred.
• Big box or wholesale retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and/or food, ensuring merchandise is fully stocked.
• Maintain product display signage and create labels or apply sales tags; ensure labels and price tags are clear and visible.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Support a safe and positive environment for members and team members.
• Deliver service excellence, address member concerns, and contribute to daily GOLD Member and Club Standards.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
