About The Position

The Overnight Stock Clerk stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food, ensuring merchandise is fully stocked and product labels and price tags are clear and visible. The role maintains the club’s neat, clean, and organized environment through housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard. It also supports club standards, policies, and procedures, and may include working in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

The position involves continuously moving around on hard surfaces and lifting objects up to 50 pounds. It may also involve moving heavier or awkward objects with assistance, frequent bending and reaching, and working around moving machinery, loud equipment, temperature extremes, and occasional cleaning agents.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to continuously move about on hard surfaces and lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be moved with assistance.

• Previous grocery or stock experience.
• Big box or wholesale retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and/or food, ensuring merchandise is fully stocked.
• Maintain display signage and create labels or apply merchandise sales tags; ensure product labels and price tags are clear and visible.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Support a safe and positive environment for members and team members and deliver service excellence.
• Work as a team to maintain club standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
