About The Position

The Overnight Stock Clerk stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food; keeps merchandise fully stocked and clearly labeled; and helps maintain a neat, clean, and organized club. The role includes applying product labels and sales tags, maintaining visible signage, and handling damaged or spoiled products according to company policies. The clerk also performs general housekeeping, including removing trash and cardboard, follows club policies and procedures, and may work in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Team members are expected to support club policies, procedures, and compliance; act honestly and with integrity; help ensure a safe, positive, inclusive environment; collaborate to achieve goals; maintain a friendly attitude; and deliver service excellence to members. The position supports daily GOLD Member and Club Standards, including keeping items stocked, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 30 pounds; may need to lift and move heavier or awkward objects with assistance.
• Ability to move about continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, and stoop.

Nice To Haves

• Previous grocery or stock experience preferred.
• Big box or wholesale retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and/or food.
• Ensure merchandise is fully stocked and product labels and price tags are clear and visible.
• Maintain display signage and create labels or apply merchandise sales tags.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Follow club policies and procedures and support compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Deliver service excellence, address member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Work as a team to meet daily GOLD Member and Club Standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
