About The Position

The Parking Spot is hiring an Overnight Shuttle Driver to transport customers safely and courteously between its parking facilities and airport terminals. Drivers provide customer assistance, follow safe driving practices and applicable commercial vehicle regulations, and work cooperatively with team members to deliver service. This is an overnight-only, part-time position paying $20.29 per hour, plus cash and mobile tips, with regular bonus opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Employee Handbook.
• Hold and maintain applicable licenses or badges required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle.
• Be willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process when required by airport, federal DOT, and/or state regulations.
• Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds to assist with luggage, with or without an accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Previous driver and/or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport up to 15 passengers between airport terminals and The Parking Spot locations while following safe driving practices.
• Perform appropriate pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Greet customers and offer assistance with their luggage.
• Provide pleasant customer service.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the facility and airport terminals.
• Cooperate with team members to provide the best possible service.
• May cross-train for other frontline positions as directed by management.
• Comply with applicable regulations and requirements governing the operation of commercial vehicles.
• Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by management.
