About The Position

We’re seeking a caring, reliable Overnight Shift Lead to care for students ages 7-22 with autism. You’ll serve as the point person during your shift and help ensure smooth transitions and clear communication between staff. If you enjoy overnight work and have a heart for supporting individuals with autism, this role offers the chance to make a real impact.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities required
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience required
  • Must pass drug screen and background checks (no felonies, no abuse, assault, or neglect convictions)
  • Strong communication skills and reliability, especially during overnight hours
  • Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and respectful home environment
  • Must be patient, compassionate, and comfortable providing hands‑on support
  • Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks as needed

Responsibilities

  • Engage with residents through activities, daily living skills, and supportive behavior strategies
  • Follow and document goals and behavior plans accurately
  • Assist with hygiene and daily routines while promoting independence
  • Maintain a safe, clean, home‑like environment and report needs or issues
  • Serve as the point‑of‑contact during the overnight shift and ensure smooth communication between staff
