About The Position

At Sunrise Senior Living, Security team members help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and team members. They monitor the property, respond to incidents, and support risk management practices. The role is critical to protecting residents and property and ensuring overnight and daily safety operations run smoothly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license, if required.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and access points.
• Respond to alarms, security calls, and on-site emergencies.
• Investigate and document incidents or suspicious activity.
• Complete daily Security Logs and incident reports.
• Monitor fire safety, hazards, and unsecured areas.
• Assist with emergency response procedures.
• Escort residents and team members after hours.
• Support OSHA and infection control compliance.
• Secure and unlock areas according to policy.
