About The Position

The Overnight Security Officer position involves a large amount of contact with guests, local law enforcement and other hotel personal and excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills are required. As this position is physical in nature candidates must be able to stand for up to 8hrs per shift and lift up to 50lbs.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Excellent Human Relations skills; able to deal with difficult situations in a positive, effective manner; Accommodating and approachable demeanor a must.
• Excellent investigative skills and report writing skills a must.
• Must be familiar with all Window applications.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Must already be legally permitted to work in the United States. Applicants without valid work authorization for the United States will not be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Security experience or similar (law enforcement, military, fire rescue) preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel and residence premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Circulate among guests, patrons, and employees to ensure safety and protect property.
• Ability to work weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
