About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel Nashville is seeking an Overnight Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of guests, residents, employees, and property while providing exceptional service in accordance with Four Seasons standards. The role helps maintain a secure environment through proactive patrols, emergency response, incident management, and safety awareness initiatives. The officer protects people and hotel assets by enforcing security and safety procedures, conducting hotel patrols, monitoring security systems, responding to emergencies and guest concerns, preparing incident reports, and supporting investigations and emergency preparedness. The position also assists with guestroom lockouts, safe malfunctions, and other security-related requests, and works collaboratively with hotel departments, emergency responders, and law enforcement when necessary. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Requirements

At least one year of security experience.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies and high-pressure situations.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Reading, writing, and verbal proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Protect guests, employees, visitors, and hotel assets by enforcing security and safety policies and procedures.
Conduct routine patrols throughout the hotel and identify and address safety, security, and fire hazards.
Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations, alarms, incidents, and guest concerns.
Monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarms, key control systems, and access control processes.
Prepare detailed incident reports and assist with investigations as required.
Support emergency preparedness efforts, including participation in fire safety programs and emergency response procedures.
Assist with guestroom lockouts, safe malfunctions, and other security-related requests.
Promote safety awareness throughout the property through training, communication, and compliance initiatives.
Work collaboratively with hotel departments, emergency responders, and law enforcement agencies when necessary.
Deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining a professional, approachable, and service-oriented presence.
