About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a surveillance security officer to monitor security systems and help identify and respond to threats. The role involves working in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The position is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a Thursday-through-Sunday schedule from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., at an hourly wage of $22.05. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure premises are safe.

• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
