About The Position

This is a safety-sensitive position responsible for receiving merchandise. The role involves unloading delivery trucks, placing merchandise in the proper staging area, and ensuring all merchandise is accurately labeled and scanned for inventory control. The position requires quick learning of merchandise, checking daily assignments, and maintaining excellent customer relations. The work environment can occasionally involve hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions.

Requirements

Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs
Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Ability to learn proper scan gun procedures and care
Basic computer knowledge to operate Storis
Positive attitude when working with customers
Knowledge of employment and safety procedures
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening

Nice To Haves

Must be able to quickly gain knowledge of merchandise

Responsibilities

Unload delivery trucks
Place merchandise in proper staging area
Label and scan all merchandise properly with scan guns for accurate inventory count
Check daily assignments and responsibilities
Use excellent customer relations with both external and internal customers
Perform any other duties as directed by management
