About The Position

The dynamic Overnight Public Area Attendant / Public Area Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout all public spaces of our luxury Resort. This essential role ensures an immaculate, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues by performing thorough cleaning, proactive inspections, and deep-cleaning tasks—often during overnight/graveyard shifts—in a fast-paced, premium hospitality setting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience in hotel housekeeping, public area cleaning, or a directly comparable role within the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work overnight/graveyard shifts, late nights, early mornings, split shifts, weekends, public holidays, extended hours, and on-call duties as required by business levels.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) in English to interact professionally with guests, supervisors, department heads, and cross-functional teams.
  • Unwavering positive attitude, absolute reliability, punctuality, and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure team environment.
  • Superior physical stamina and fitness to perform demanding, repetitive tasks—including prolonged standing, frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing/pulling loaded housekeeping carts/equipment, and continuous movement throughout large property areas for full shifts.
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and guest satisfaction with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work independently while strictly adhering to health, safety, sanitation, and operational protocols.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently as the primary workplace language.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a luxury, full-service, or upscale hotel/resort environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough, high-standard cleaning and maintenance of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, corridors, restrooms, restaurants, bars, pool decks, fitness center, elevators, stairwells, offices, back-of-house service corridors, and other designated spaces, strictly following established checklists, procedures, and Pyramid Hotel Group quality standards.
  • Consistently uphold uncompromising cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetic presentation in assigned areas to meet luxury hospitality expectations.
  • Proactively identify, document, and immediately report any maintenance deficiencies, safety hazards, lighting issues, spills, damage, or irregularities observed during rounds.
  • Execute intensive deep-cleaning projects, periodic high-volume turnaround tasks, carpet shampooing, floor polishing, window cleaning, high-dusting, and special assignments as directed by supervision.
  • Maintain supplies, equipment, and carts in clean, organized, and fully stocked condition; report low stock levels or equipment issues promptly.
  • Use approved cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all health, safety, and environmental protocols.
  • Respond courteously and professionally to guest inquiries or requests encountered during shifts; assist with minor guest needs when appropriate.
  • Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and hygienic environment by following all sanitation, infection control, and safety guidelines.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strict adherence to established procedures, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Participate in team briefings, training sessions, and departmental meetings to stay informed on updates, standards, and operational goals.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as business demands require.
  • The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist in operations and perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.
