Overnight Program Supervisor- Children's Autism Residential
About The Position
Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services is seeking an Overnight Program Supervisor for their children's IDD/Autism residential treatment program. This role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Developmental Disabilities, providing supervision to direct care staff, monitoring daily program operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and professional standards, and offering crisis prevention and intervention support. The position also includes participating in new employee orientation and providing ongoing employee training. The program serves boys and girls, ages 6 to 21, with intellectual and developmental disabilities and significant behavioral challenges, focusing on skill development, positive behavioral change, communication, and self-care.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college with at least twelve credits hours in a human services discipline to include but not limited to psychology, sociology, social work, education, pastoral counseling, political science, heath, recreation, criminal justice, counseling; and a minimum of two years direct care experience.
- OR 60 college credits from an accredited college with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline (as described above); and three years direct care experience.
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience required.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children in our care
- Provide supervision to direct care staff and monitor the daily operation of assigned program
- Ensure all regulatory guidelines and professional standards are followed
- Provide crisis prevention and intervention support, guidance, and feedback to direct reports
- Participate in the orientation of new employees and provides ongoing employee training
