About The Position

This position is responsible for sorting product and stocking it in the correct shelf locations. The team member takes stock from an L-cart or pallet, uses the location codes provided on the boxes to identify where products belong, and repeats the process until the assigned area is complete. The posting also describes the broader Food Clerk role in Meijer’s Fresh departments, which supports a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience. Food Clerks serve customers, maintain product displays, stock and rotate merchandise, follow food safety and quality procedures, and may work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery departments.

Responsibilities

Sort product and stock it in the correct shelf locations using the location codes on boxes.
Take stock from an L-cart or pallet and continue stocking until the assigned area is finished.

Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.

Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
